Adela Demetja

Adela Demetja (Albania, 1984) is Curator and Culture Manager. She studied art in Tirana Art Academy and Hchschule für Gestaltung in Karlsruhe, Germany. During 2007-2008 she was Fellow of the Robert Bosch Foundation in the framework of the “Culture Managers from Central and East Europe” Programme and she holds a diploma in European Culture Management. In addition, during 2009-2010 she was a Fellow of the “Southeast Europe and the European Union – Leadership Development Programme” jointly developed by the College of Europe, TRANSFUSE Association and the European Fund for the Balkans. Currently, she is perusing her Master studies in Curatorial Studies in Frankfurt Main in Germany. She is the Executive Director of Tirana Art Lab – Centre for Contemporary Art based in Tirana. She lives and works in Germany and Albania.

Her experience in organization of art events is very crucial in BBB’s existence and she is the main responsible for the funding of BBB’s activities.
