BBB participates at the project “Road to the future” – towards the European elections 2019 aiming at encouraging debate among young Europeans about the European Elections 2019 and enhance their participation. Balkans Beyond Borders (in cooperation with JEF Greece) will carry out local campaign and advocacy activities before and after the EP elections.
We invite you to participate at the youth exchange programme which will be held in Jambville (near Paris), France on March 13th – 17th (group leaders to arrive on March 12th). 10 successful applicants (8 participants and 2 leaders) will have the opportunity to participate at this 5 day programme.

ABOUT THE TRAINING
The 5-day programme will allow them to understand the goals and methods used in the campaign, familiarizing them with chosen youth engagement tools and developing their skills to promote European debate in their own communities. The participants will be invited to engage in discussions and intercultural activities related to the European Elections and contribute the the preparation of the campaign “I Choose Europe”. Theυ will also have the opportunity to prepare and present Europe-oriented activities during a high-visibility youth event for nearly 2000 people in Paris on 16 March that will officially launch the campaign.
PARTICIPANTS PROFILE
- age 18-30
- motivated to promote debate among young people about European issues, especially the European Elections 2019 and interested in developing their skills in the area of youth engagement
- able to work and communicate in English
- previous civil society experience, including volunteering, is an asset
REIMBURSEMENTS AND FEES
Participation fee: €50 per participant (group leaders exempted).
The costs of meals and accommodation will be covered by the organizers. The travel costs of participants from the eligible countries will be reimbursed after the event up to a certain amount
