  Balkans Beyond Borders has been selected one more time for its activities showing that it is an active NGO which goes beyond its mission. “Let’s talk about last year’s big bad crises”- BBB event in Belgrade- BE THERE!!

  Balkans Beyond Borders is celebrating its first two years of operation in the Balkans with a special FILM/MUSIC event that will take place in Belgrade on 6 of April, starting at 19:30am at REX Cultural Center, Jevrejska 16, 11000. With title “Let’s talk about last year’s big bad crises” the event is inspired by last year’s short film festival. The projected films are a selection from the Balkans Beyond Borders Short Film Festival 2011 and the Film Making Workshops 2011 that had as title “Who’s afraid of the Big Bad Crises?”. BBB at the Resonate Festival in Belgrade for the New Media

  On the 16th and 17th of March, BBB had the opportunity to experience the Resonate, a new media festival. The festival took place in Belgrade at the cultural spot Dom omladine and lasted for two days. The idea of this, unique for the region festival, was to provide a platform for networking, knowledge sharing and education in the field of art and new technologies. It gathered plethora of artists, designers and bloggers who not only presented their work but also interacted with other artists and the audience. Read more »

Balkans Beyond Borders invites you to the FILM/MUSIC event “Let’s talk about last year’s big bad crises”.

The event will take place at REX Cultural Center, Belgrade on 6 of April 2012 starting at 19.30 am..

Call for submissions for the Balkans Beyond Borders Short Film Festival 2012- “TALK TO ME”

 Balkans Beyond Borders opens the call for submissions for the 3rd edition of Balkans Beyond Borders Short Film Festival.

Celebrating Balkan diversity, multilingualism and communication, the 3rd edition has as title “TALK TO ME”. For one more time young artists up to the age of 30 from the Balkan region and beyond (Southeast Europe) are invited to create their own short film related to this year’s topic. The submission period runs from the 10th of November until the 1st of April and the festival will take place in Tirana in May 2012. Read more »

 

BBB at “Life Learning and Volunteering” event

  Balkans Beyond Borders had the opportunity to participate with its representatives at the event “Life Learning and Volunteering” organized by the State Scholarships Foundation. The event took place at Technopolis in Athens as part of the European Year of Volunteerism on Thursday, the 15th of December. Visitors of all ages with majority the students wanted to learn as much as possible about BBB, its activities and the ways they can be involved. The Balkans is an area that interest lots of young Greeks and they want to discover the activities that take place in it. Read more »

A fruitful cooperation between Balkans Beyond Borders and Critical Path Consulting and Training

 In November 2011 Balkans Beyond Borders established an exclusive partnership with Critical Path Consulting and Training company. Balkans Beyond Borders together with Critical Path, its official training partner for 2011-2012, initiated a training program in order all the BBB team to be qualified and certified on Project Management Professional.
