A Month

SYNOPSIS

Ana is a 40-year-old unmarried blind women. Her four sisters Gonja (45), Fatmirja (46), Ajshja (33) and Valbona (50) agree to take care of Ana at their respective homes for one month each. The Government offers social assistance worth 120-euros per month to the handicapped. A family member who nurses that disabled person is entitled to the money. Ana is a kind person, a woman of few words; she rarely speaks. Her utmost enjoyment is listening to music on her old radio and playing with her sister’s kids. “A month” is based on a real life story happened in post-war Kosovo.
