Zina Lefkou was born and raised in Thessaloniki. She left for Paris, where she studied Performing Arts – Cinema at Paris 8 University and then combined the studies at Audiovisual and Media Department with Cultural Management studies at Paris 3 – Sorbonne Nouvelle University. There, she also followed postgraduate studies in Film Education focusing on Cinema as an art of transmission.
Since an early age, she was taking part in the organization of cultural events happening at her birth city, but also anywhere she was given the chance to travel to. She has worked for cultural institutions and is collaborating for many years with numerous art and film festivals in Greece and abroad. At the same time, you can find her being part of the Production department of international film productions.
Lately, her work is mostly focused on designing and coordinating Film Education programs, especially addressed to children and young people, a field she loves. She is constantly seeking new ways of orchestrating cinematic encounters with the audience, sharing a contagious enthusiasm, becoming what we can call the “passeur”. Her aspiration, making her creative projects as accessible as possible to all.
Albulena Kurti (2001, Prishtina, Kosovo) is a passionate film director and graphic designer from Kosovo. Albulena has been engaged in many social impact projects and managed to lead her own four youth projects supported by: Unicef, Unmik and the Japan embassy. Her films have been screened and awarded at regional and international festivals. She is so excited to pursue her career as a film director and, through her films, to present to people global concerns.
Claudia Alexandru is a filmmaker with a bachelor’s degree in Film Studies from the Faculty of Theatre and Film of Babeș-Bolyai University. Her graduation film Hellen was screened as part of the Llendes section in the 57th Gijón International Film Festival. Currently, she is enrolled in the Performance Arts and Film MA program.
Leo Vitasovic has been making films since the early days of elementary school. He has participated in various film workshops across Europe and the US. Has been an active board member of Blank_film incubator, an independent film association in Croatia since 2015. His current interests include developing automation tools, content recommendation systems, and artificial intelligence utilities within the realm of video editing and content creation. He works for Pleaz ApS, a Danish health-oriented video streaming service, as the Head of the Video Department and Data Scientist.
Tijana Savić (Serbia, 1998) studied film and tv production at Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade, Serbia. For the last five years, she has been a part of numerous projects that include short films, full length films, tv series, tv commercials, music videos etc. Short movies that she produced were recognized and praised at various festivals worldwide, “Dog Days of Summer” and “Sherbet” (both directed by Nikola Stojanović) being the most awarded ones. Besides that, she gained experience by working on professional jobs within the industry and at the moment, she is working on a serbian tv series called “Vera”.
Sandra Gjorgieva is a director and editor, born and raised in Shtip, but currently works in Skopje, North Macedonia. In 2016 she graduated from the Faculty of Dramatic Arts where she studied Film and TV editing. She wrote, directed and edited her own exam short films. Her documentary short “Green walls, black food“, was selected for the Competition Program of Sarajevo Film Festival in 2015, besides other international festivals. Her graduate short fiction film, the musical “Black and White”, which she also wrote, directed and edited, has been successfully shown at international festivals and won the Best Film Award in an international festival in Brazil in 2020. Sandra has
directed several episodes for the children‟s TV series “5+ Family” and “5+ Nikoqirёt”, one of which was the first ever musical TV episode in the country. Titled „Песноден“ (Day of the song), this episode, took on short–film-type of life on itself and had cinematic screenings all over the country. Among other directorial and writing projects, she has also directed several on-stage musical performances, music videos etc. She wrote and directed the short film “A ton of ice-cream” supported by Agency of Film of North Macedonia, and currently is in post-production. Sandra is a Sarajevo Talent as she attended the Talent Campus Program „‟Pack&Pitch at Sarajevo Film Festival in 2021 and won the “Best Pitch” postproduction award for the film “A ton of ice-cream”. Since 2021, Sandra is a member of Film Professionals Association of North Macedonia.
Zvonimir Grujić was born in 1993 in Zagreb. He is currently a student of master studies in Film Directing at FDU Cetinje. He directed short fiction and documentary films such as God Helps and What Now. His films have been screened while he himself has participated in numerous film workshops throughout the region (Atelier Varan, ZagrebDOX etc.)
