The 8thBBB Short Film Festival with title: ENTER/EXIT comes to Brussels with an excellent programme of short films by emerging Balkan film makers and much more. This year Balkans Beyond Borders (ΒΒΒ), alongside with Inter Alia, bring Balkan films and Balkan spirit in the heart of Europe, Brussels! The Festival will take place at Art Base, cultural centre, 29 rue des Sables, Brussels, for three nights, 13-14-15 October 2017. Be there!
The Pre-selection Committee selected 33 films out of 1400 entries from 38 countries in total to take part at the Competition Programme. Our Jury members: Andrei Sendrea, film critic and scriptwriter (Romania), Ben Vandendaele, producer (Belgium) and Silas Michalakas, visual anthropologist (Greece) will select the best film of the Competition Parogramme to get the BBB BEST FILM PRIZE 2017 that consists of production and promotion services by Radiator Sales company. As always, the Audience will vote for the Audience Prize and the Jury members will give 3 Special Mentions. The Award Ceremony will take place on Sunday at 21:00.
BBB Short Film Festival travels every year to a different city tackling topics of contemporaneity and focusing on new regional productions, functioning as a stage of supporting and promoting young Balkan filmmakers. BBB has joined forces with Inter Alia aiming at engaging and motivating the youth, promoting youth mobility and creating a strong network of active EU citizens.
