SYNOPSIS
Vasko has written an essay that offends and questions Hristo Botev, who is widely considered by Bulgarians as a national hero. When the headmaster of the school herself interrogates him in front of the whole class, Vasko explains that he wanted to say something entirely different.
The film “Botev e idiot” was broadcast on WDR television in Germany as a part of the “Night of the shorts” on 09.11.2013 at 11:30 pm, and again as a part of the digital program “einfestival” on 16.11.2013 at 00:10 am.
The film was also nominated for the “Stoyan Kambarev” foundation award in Bulgaria for special achievement in arts.
