Gravity

Drama, Coming of age

SYNOPSIS

12-year-old Deniz, together with her best friend Umut, claims an abandoned pool on a hill as their shelter, building a playground away from the gaze of the outside world— where rules have not yet taken hold. However, as she reaches the threshold of growing up, the boundaries of gender and the weight of society on the individual begin to pull Deniz toward their own rules, like a force of “gravity.”
