SYNOPSIS

Filmmaking student Eva Tatu interviews her mother and her grandmother in an attempt to find an explanation for the two women’s clearly broken relationship. Home videos show early symptoms of what has turned over the years into painstaking avoidance. As the film progresses, decade-old family feuds resurface, and we learn about how the convoluted experience of motherhood has shaped how Eva’s mother perceives herself.
