SYNOPSIS

We’re destroying the countryside. We’re moving away from never seeing mother earth again. Today, tomorrow in Istanbul; in the hope that it will not happen to our developing countryside and today’s villages…
Istanbul, which is mentioned in the film, is actually the representation of all the cities and villages that move away from the soil and realize the value of the land late.

A hundred year later from now… A city that is almost invisible and expanding in all directions, has begun to lose its essence in a distorted way… Istanbul…
Istanbul is losing itself and cannot find it anymore. Istanbul of Zeus, Byzas, the Ottomans and many others… It has changed too much that it cannot recognize itself. The ruins of history have remained at the bottom and their memories have been forgotten. We are on a journey to Istanbul’s own past, looking for and missing itself in the past. Istanbul finds himself nowadays when it begins to lose his memories. Istanbul walks through its own branched streets. It cannot bring what it left behind. And it opens its eyes, the journey is over with a last tear drop of desperation. I see Istanbul with my eyes closed!
