Balkans Beyond Borders as partner at the project “Seeing other countries” co-organized a life learning seminar with title “Find your way to EU+ countries”. Valuable information upon career opportunities in the EU and CV making was given to the audience on Thursday 5 of March at EuropeDirect in Athens. The seminar addressed young unemployed people and students who want to enter the EU+ labour market dynamically and gain mobility experience by using all available tools. It was fully booked from the 1st day of the Open Call and participants participated actively in the discussion.
Speakers of the Seminar were Dimitris Maragkos, Communication Officer of IKY- State Scholarships Foundation who talked about Mobility opportunities through EU programs and Veroniki Rontogianni, Project Manager of “Seeing other countries” project who gave advice on “How to compose effectively a CV, the cover letter and how to get prepared for a successful interview.
At the seminar, the project “Seeing other countries” launched its Mobility Manual, a very useful tool for all young people that want to find a job abroad. The mobility manual which is online here has all basic information needed about staying, job searching, bureaucracy issues of all European countries. It is a key to enhance mobility within Europe and facilitate life of young people that want to do a new beginning abroad. Young people are not alone in this endeavour!
