The Shortcutz Amsterdam International Audience Award Tour makes a stop in Athens for the fourth consecutive year featuring 6 short films by young Dutch filmmakers. This year, the Shortcutz Amsterdam International Audience Award is organised once again by Balkans Beyond Borders in collaboration with Shortcutz Amsterdam, at the cultural space Fabrica, as part of a pre-festival screening in the context of of the 14th Balkans Beyond Borders Short Film Festival – Athens Edition. The screening invites the Athenian audience to experience the emerging Dutch film scene, and vote for their favourite film, thus actively contributing in the final selection of the Shortcutz Amsterdam International Audience Award.
The screening will take place on Wednesday 10/01 at 19:30, at the Fabrica cultural space in Athens.
Each year Shortcutz Amsterdam presents its finalists selected by an international Jury Team to become part of a World Tour through its international network. After last year’s successful and well received screening in Athens, we are pleased to be once again one of the 30 partner countries that will host the selected Dutch films, one of which will be awarded the Shortcutz Amsterdam International Audience Award, through the international voting process by the viewers. The winner of the 10th Shortcutz Amsterdam International Audience Award will be announced on January 22nd and streamed live on the Shortcutz Amsterdam website.
