SYNOPSIS

“Who owns the sand?” explores the Athenian coast, revealing it as a highly politicised landscape, full of contradictions and rapid changes, strongly affected by the privatisation of public spaces and touristic development. Beachgoers, locals, workers and others encountered at the coast, express their thoughts and feelings about what they witness.
