SYNOPSIS

Present day. In a small town in western Ukraine, Captain Viktor of the Ukrainian Armed Forces is ordered to deliver three death notices to the families of fallen soldiers. On the same day, he receives devastating news from the vet: his beloved dog Rich is gravely ill and should be euthanized to end his suffering. Throughout the day, Viktor must make a decision about his friend’s fate.
