Dr. Panagiotis Kyriakoulakos

Dr P. Kyriakoulakos is Assistant Professor in Computer Animation at the Department of Product and Systems Design Engineering of the University of the Aegean. He has extensive experience in Teaching and Digital Production activities both in Greece and France since 1987, including Expertise for the MEDIA Programme of the European Union (Development and Training Proposals Evaluations). Current Research includes topics such as the impact of design and development stages to the animation aesthetics and the formation of national, regional, and international production ecosystems in animation.

Dila Bulut Derya

She graduated from Istanbul Bilgi University Faculty of Law in 2015. In 2018, she studied directing at the New York Film Academy, gaining an international perspective in the field of cinema. The short films she has written and directed have been screened at various international film festivals.

In 2020, she founded her own law firm and began actively practicing law. In 2024, she established Frej Coffee Art House, a cultural, artistic, and social meeting space.

Alongside her professional career in law, she continues to nurture her passion for cinema through film and series analyses.

In our …(film club), she is set to explore the intersection of AI, law, and cinema through an intellectual and artistic journey.

Mihali Paleologlou

Mihali Paleologlou

Mihali is an award-winning composer whose diverse output spans film, concert, theatre, installation, and dance. His works have been commissioned and performed by internationally renowned ensembles including the Brussels Philharmonic, MusikFabrik, the Chroma and Ergon ensembles, and the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art.

His recent work includes the original score for the documentary ‘Missing Inaction: The Raul Wallenberg Story’, directed by Emmy Award-winner Brian Mait and Brad Rothschild, and narrated by Oscar winner Jamie Lee Curtis and BAFTA winner Jake Gyllenhaal. His other original film scores include the feature ‘Dissolved’, the documentary ‘Fade to Black’, and the 9-part documentary series “Secrets of the Aegean Sea”.

Mihali is also a dedicated educator and industry leader. He serves as the Artistic Director of the Berlin International Film Scoring and Sound Design Competitions and is the founder of the Fusion Film Scoring Workshops (FFSW). In this capacity, he has conducted recordings for over 100 short film scores. He teaches Music and Sound for Film at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.

His publications and accolades are numerous. He was a finalist for the SABAM Award for Best Young European Composer and won First Prize in the Frank Prindl Prize for Best Orchestral Score. His published works include A Different Green for Solo Flute (Arcomis) and Chinese Notebook, a collaboration with poet D. Agrafiotis, featured in the Readings Web Journal of Birkbeck University of London.

Mihali’s musical, ‘Between Empires’, premiered at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival to critical acclaim:
